I've yet to get an opportunity to play this, but it's one of the select few games I keep close at hand on whatever device I have for a read-through when I have time. I'm so excited to see the new content!

thank you so much!

Songbirds 3e community · Created a new topic Spreads layout

The game is beautiful, but could we get a spreads version? The layout is pretty clearly designed with spreads in mind, and I feel things like the art would flow better in a spreads format. Some pages like 90-91 miss out by being broken apart in pages.

I got ending 3, and I thoroughly enjoyed the game! Everything from the music, to the writing, and especially the art style. Thank you for creating this and sharing it with us.

What is the license for reusing/remixing the creature stat blocks? If I buy this asset pack, does it also allow me to use the creatures themselves in publications?

I love spin-off games! Exploring what came before the 'main' game is a really cool idea and I'm looking forward to reading it :)

Thanks! I've sent an email with proof of my receipt.

This book is SO good! All of the NPCs have distinct personalities and appearances, and I can tell just dropping one of them, much less multiple, into any game I run would have the players latch on immediately!

Do you have any plans for future releases with more art? I loved the written descriptions, but getting art of my current favorite (haven't finished reading all of them) Tryphosa Tucker Thimbling would be icing on the cake of this amazing book!

10/5 stars

Hi, I didn't notice the expanded version in tiered purchasing before I bought the base level. What email would be best to contact you after throwing another $10 at the game? I see you've posted different emails in the comments here.

Also, is the itch version supposed to come with a free copy of the Bandcamp soundtrack, or do we need to buy that separately?

I don't know if you've gotten it sorted already given it's been a while, but the way the tiered purchase works on itch is having a single purchase for the full amount. Feral Indie Studio in other comments is saying that if you just add another $10 purchase and email them, they'll send you a key.

This looks like SO much fun and I can't wait to play it!

Also FYI the hyperlink for Amor Astir on this page is broken. Found the supplement on your main page though!

I'd just say "ace of hearts card" for clarity instead of "cards" at the beginning. Going back and rereading, all the ace of spades does is modify the ace of hearts so that you can remove a token on a roll of 5 or 6, instead of just 6.

Is there a way to add tokens to cards outside of the single instance where you add all 10 to the ace of hearts? The instructions seem to imply it with "place or remove tokens from cards" on page 2, like you're adding tokens to cards other than the ace of hearts (once drawn)?

Reading this over, it looks really fun! However, I can't find anywhere that says when to add tokens to cards, just that you remove them from the Ace of Hearts as you progress. How do the tokens work?

Oh my god these are AMAZING! Lucky Fool rogue is an absolutely bonkers idea and I love the idea of playing a Wild Rover ranger (probably going to be my next PC!)

I'm working my way through it and I'm really excited to play it!

On page 59 under Advancement, "Choose a new Move from the Soldier Moves" is listed twice. Is this a typo?

What is the game about? Is it a town generator? The description doesn't tell you what you're writing.

I haven't gotten a chance to play this yet (just found it in the Trans Rights bundle!) but I just wanted to say THANK YOU SO SO MUCH for the audio transcription! It's really hard for me to focus long enough to read stuff, but audio makes things much easier for me! I rely on Actual Play podcasts to get the hang of new games/systems, but I've never seen someone provide an audio transcription of their game.

This is something I never imagined existed (who would listen to someone else just read a game out loud?) but I was so grateful when I saw you included this in the files.

Additionally, I really like that you included sourcing for the fonts used, as this is something I do too! It's always nice being able to find fonts other people have used to fit the theme for things like supplements.

Thank you again for this.

This needs to be implemented into the core game ASAP

That makes sense, but then what do you mean by the previous statement of "increase by 50% at minimum"? Do you increase by 50% or double it (100%)?

Thank you! Is there a typo in the checklist here?

"I recommend increasing your rates by 50% for commercial licensing at minimum and 50% at minimum for ownership. Double your rates for both at minimum."

Should this be "double your rates for both at maximum"?

I'm already corresponding with a friend overseas, so this will be perfect to include! I was just thinking the other day on how to best integrate the game into a letter, and here this is!

Thanks!

Where can I find the comic?

What sort of stuff would be a supernatural horror? Is this all left up to the GM to create a game using these rules?

What system is this for? The statblocks look like an older version of D&D, but I'm not familiar enough to tell which version if so.

I remember you from PAX West 2018! I had a blast playing the demo there!

Awesome, thanks!

Thank you! I'm planning to use Roll20 3D dice to get the pattern on the playmat, and I'll post a review here with the online experience after the game!

Looks super fun! Do you think you could provide the hi-res Guide cards for online play as individual PNG/JPG files instead of all together in a single PDF? It's hard to do anything with images from a PDF.
